These terms apply to the ampear website and the Friday briefing newsletter, provided by træct.dev (see the legal notice). By using the site or subscribing, you agree to them.
1. What ampear is
ampear collects and summarises information about electricity grid access (connection capacity, connection requests, tenders and rule changes) published by grid operators, regulators and public authorities. The website and the newsletter are currently free of charge. Paid services, if offered later, will come with their own terms that you accept separately.
2. The newsletter
You can subscribe with a work or personal email address. You receive it only after confirming your address. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every issue or by replying to it; the button on the page the link opens, or your email program's unsubscribe function, deletes your address immediately. We may change the format, frequency or content of the newsletter or stop it altogether.
3. No advice, no guarantee
Everything on ampear is general information, not investment, legal, technical or engineering advice. It is not a substitute for a connection request, a grid study or confirmation from the relevant operator or authority. See the disclaimer for details.
4. Intellectual property
The underlying facts and figures belong to their original sources, and we link to them wherever we use them. The selection, structure, texts, design and software of ampear are protected by copyright and database rights of træct.dev. You may quote individual items with attribution to ampear and the original source. Systematic copying, scraping or redistribution of the site or newsletter requires our written permission.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, circumvent its security, sign up other people without their consent, or use automated means to submit forms.
6. Liability
We provide the site and newsletter as they are, free of charge, and with care, but without warranty of accuracy, completeness or timeliness. To the extent permitted by law, træct.dev is not liable for damage resulting from the use of, or reliance on, information on ampear. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
